Vincent Immigration Law
Mr. Vincent recently retired from 10 years as Assistant Chief Counsel for the United States Immigration and Custom Enforcement and the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Dallas, Texas. He has opened a practice of Immigration law in Santa Fe, New Mexico serving Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico. He represented the government as a Federal Prosecutor in Federal Immigration Court and was extremely successful with a high winning ratio against outside counsel due to his extensive knowledge of the complex immigration law and the complicated litigation process. He has been in the practice of Law for over 40 years, a professional litigator and prosecutor at the county to federal level and a caring defense attorney who will work for you. He received his J.D. from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1965 and the Texas Bar in 1993. He has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Iowa, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
He serves as a volunteer attorney for Catholic Charities of Santa Fe, Somos Un Pueblo Unito in Santa Fe, and El Centro de Igualdad y Derechos in Albuquerque. He appeared as a speaker at the 2006 New Mexico Bar Association Meeting. His practice of law is limited to representing clients in immigration matters before the Federal Government Agencies, Immigration Courts and the Federal Courts.
